Golden Hour

As I drove home from a meeting in Frydlant, the warmth, glow and vibrancy of the evening captivated me.

In what I like to call "Golden Hour", that moment when the sun is making its descent and suddenly everything is awash in its glow, I knew I couldn't miss the opportunity to catch a few of my favorite spots.

So, instead of taking the turn towards home, I continued on up towards Malenovice to see if my phone could catch the beauty of the moment.

Looking up towards Lysa Hora, over the village of Malenovice, the view was truly magnificent.

And the church on the hill made for a picturesque moment as the sunset cast its warm hue over the area.

Usually the view in this direction, towards Ostrava, isn't anything special. But tonight it sure was pretty!

After a few parting glances at the church, I headed off in another direction.

And I wasn't disappointed. Our buildings at Malenovice were a sight to behold!

All alone, without another person in sight, I just soaked in the warmth and glow of the sun, and thanked the Lord for such a spectacular display of beauty.

As shadows lengthened, and the sun said goodbye to another day, I also thanked Him for letting me live in this wonderful place!
