Grandparents in Colorado

For those of you who know us, you already know that our son, Caleb, and his wife, Haley, live in Albania with their two children, Charlie and Jenna, serving with Josiah Venture.

They arrived there in September 2018 to begin working alongside two Albanian families, sharing the Gospel and discipling young people there.

But right now, they are back in the States on "home assignment", a two month trip to visit with family, friends, supporters and their home church in Colorado, to share what God's been doing these two years while they've been in Albania.

They just arrived a few days ago, and today were able to go to Denver to see their Patty grandparents, Dave's dad and mom. The last time dad and mom saw them was at the airport the day Caleb, Haley and Charlie left for Albania.

Charlie had just turned one back then, so they're now getting to see and experience a fully grown and talking toddler this time!

I don't know exactly what Charlie was saying here, but I can imagine he was asking Grandpa, "Do you wanna go play with me?"

Grandpa might be 94 years old, but he still knows how to build a Lego tower!

I'm so glad they all get this time to see each other. They'll head to the other grandparents soon!
