The Elf Makes Sweet and Sour

I don't know when I started calling it "My Elf", but there she is.

She's the third Elf, my best one so far!

On another sick day like today is for me (Day 5 and counting...), I'm happy to say the Elf did her job and took care of dinner tonight.

With the exception of the meat (and that could even be in the freezer), this is a meal you could almost make with what you have on hand, which is a good thing when you're sick and don't have the time or energy to do a good meal.

Tonight the Elf made Cantonese Sweet and Sour Pork. You can find the recipe HERE.

Served over rice, it felt like a meal someone had spent some time on.

Perfect for this snowy, wintry, (and sick) night.
