This morning, Dave and I left early for church.
But we weren't headed to our local church in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí; instead we made our way to Slezská církev evangelická a.v. Těrlicko (The Silesian Evangelical Church of Těrlicko).
The pastor, Lukáš Sztefek, was at one of our early English camps (in fact, he showed a picture of himself as a teenager at camp!), and then participated in the year-long internship program that Dave started many years ago here in Czech.
Today was his church's 70th birthday, and Lukáš asked Dave if he would bring the message to the congregation this morning.
It was a joy to fellowship with the believers here this morning, and enjoy lunch afterwards with them. We're proud of Lukáš and the work he's doing here to bring the Gospel, and make disciples here!
