They met with two specialists yesterday who were not only knowledgeable and professional, but also very engaged and excellent in their patient approach as they spent hours with Caleb, asking scores of questions and then listening to his answers as they piece together what's going on in his body.
From those appointments, they ordered more tests (on top of what already was scheduled), and appointments with a liver specialist and neurologist. He'll be meeting with those doctors today.
Some of the words Dave kept using as he told me about their experience thus far is how thorough and integrated they are. He said it's an amazing medical facility, like nothing he's ever seen.
He also commented on how they are at the forefront of research in this area of chronic abdominal pain.
Which again reminds me of how good the Lord was in leading them to Cleveland Clinic.
