For His Glory

Dave and I had the privilege of being in Luhačovice, Czech these past days, a town about two hours south of us.

This is a quaint and beautiful spa town built at the beginning of the 20th century, with some really spectacular buildings. Of course, we're still getting snow so these were taken as it was gently drifting down...again!

But we were not there on a date, a vacation or a holiday. We were there to meet with some very dear Christians from around the Czech Republic, a group of people I'd never met before.

They are believers who have been blessed by the Lord as successful businessmen and women here in Czech.

Because they love their country and countrymen, and want to see more done for the sake of God's Kingdom, and even beyond these borders, we gathered together for three days with them to think strategically about giving in order to increase fruitfulness in reaching this country for Christ.

Dave had the joy of opening God's Word with them to talk about biblical principles for using wealth for His purposes.

Their testimonies of how they came to know Jesus were amazing, and their heart and desire for seeing others come to know Him, equally amazing.

It was SO inspiring to be with them. I pray that God will lead them forward in knowing how best to use their gifts, talents and resources for the sake of Christ, and make them even more successful in order to bring HIM more glory!
