KPM Slovakia - starting now!

There is another JV ministry event starting today...and it's a BIG ONE!

KPM is a leader training event in Slovakia, run by our JV "Kompas" team for over 500 youth leaders. It's the largest event of the year for JV!
I took photos off the TCKompas Facebook page since I'm not there in person. But it sure is awesome to be standing with them in prayer for this significant event!

Centered around the theme "Search and Rescue", like our JV Fall conference, they'll be focused on helping to train and inspire this year's group of leaders in the area of evangelism: being the most effective at telling people the good news of Jesus.

Not only is this the largest event of the year, but it's an anniversary event too - the 20th anniversary for this leader's conference in Slovakia!

Danny Jones, his wife, Clara and their eight children, pioneered the work of reaching young people and training youth leaders when they moved here in 1993, the same year we moved to Czech.

They live in the States now, but Danny is back with one of his sons, Hudson, for the conference and anniversary celebration. We're so grateful for their faithfulness for years to share and live out the Gospel in Slovakia. And to train "a few" (!!) youth leaders along the way. Seriously, I wonder how many people have been impacted by this dear family?!

Pray for the effectiveness of this conference, that God will bless all those who will be there to participate, either as a learner or a servant.

And pray that the Gospel will forth in the city of Zilina as they go out on Friday afternoon to tell people about Jesus!
