Lost, but Found

Wedding details are in the air, even though I'm still in New Hampshire! But being here doesn't stop me from running errands to pick up this and that to do my part in making it a special day for Caleb and Haley (in case you don't know, the wedding is in 10 days in Colorado!).

However, after eights stores, a lot of driving, a late lunch, and an aching knee I still hadn't found what I was looking for.

Knowing there was a Target somewhere "over there", I took a turn off the highway in hopes I was on the right road.

Wrong. I got lost. And the GPS was telling me that the nearest Target was 23 miles away! I knew that wasn't true. So I just kept driving, hoping I was somewhere in the vicinity of the one I was searching for.

All of sudden, I came upon the prettiest little burg...don't know how else to describe it. But I felt like I was in a painting of "New England Life"!

I literally stood in one place and took all these photos with my phone.

What I would've missed out on had I found the right road! Yes it was "normal" things...houses, trees, flowers and a church. But somehow at that moment, when I was feeling tired and lost, those things revived me.

I did end up finding my way to Target, which turned out to be less than a mile from here. Doesn't seem possible that a big store could be anywhere near this pretty spot in the road, does it?

But I'm glad I happened onto it. Honestly, it made my day.

I never did find what I was looking for. But I've got a new idea to work on, so I'm sure I'll figure it all out in time!
