Color in Israel

I don't know when I learned to love color.

Maybe it was my first box of crayons, or finger paints in kindergarten, or flowers in my mom's garden...wherever it started, I have developed a true love, (maybe even passion!) for color.

Oh how Israel has been a feast for my eyes when it comes to color...I have honestly been so filled up by all the color you see everywhere.

I could probably post for days about it...though I'm not sure anyone else would be as excited as me about the photos! :)

These are only a few from today that captured my love for color. All were taken in the markets as we walked through Jerusalem's old city.

Mostly I'm posting these for me to remember, but maybe they will be a feast for your eyes too.

  1. So gorgeous! And the textures too! You can post them for me, I'll enjoy them. I'm so glad you are enjoying Israel, who wouldn't? I was there in '91. The Old City was one of our favorite places to spend time. I also loved En Gedi after coming off the Dead Sea and Masada.

  2. Oh Con....what a beautiful way to talk about your experience there....through the lens of color! And I've just gotta say that even though you wrote, "I could probably post for days about it...though I'm not sure anyone else would be as excited as me about the photos!" that you forgot about ME! I'm just as excited as you about the photo's and want to see them ALL! After all, there's a reason we've been BFF's now for almost 33 years! Gotta have some of these same things we love!!!! :o)
