Pink in Tennessee

In the past two months we've watched spring come alive in Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington and Utah.

Then it disappeared as we made our way through Colorado and across the Midwest.

But yesterday, driving through our daughter-in-law Lara's beloved Tennessee, we found it again!

These flowering trees alongside the freeway were just magnificent! It was hard to stop exclaiming over their beauty mile after mile.

Just seeing green again was enough to fill our senses with spring delight. But to see pink scattered in and out of all of the varying shades of green - oh my! It's a crowning touch to spring's arrival.

The beauty of God's creation across this country is still giving me a thrill!

  1. Aw, wish I could've seen this! When Lara saw this, she said, "yep, that's always been there! It really is that pink!".
