Receiving Help

Over the past four months, there have been a number of days when I couldn't get out of bed because the pain I was experiencing was so overwhelming. Not all days were like that, but all days held pain.

When we came down to Hvar, I barely made it, and have spent a number of days in bed here too.

One day, in desperation, I decided to get on my computer and see if I could find anyone on the island who could help me. It was a long shot, at best. I don't even remember what I googled but I truly believe God led me to this woman.

The day I wrote her, she wrote me back saying that while she is usually on Hvar at the beginning on April, she had only arrived back on the island four days earlier as she had been stuck in Saudi Arabia, of all places, during quarantine. She said her schedule was open and that she could come to me to try and help.

She is a physical therapist with 23 years of experience, and specializes in the release of pain. ðŸ˜†She has techniques, abilities, and what I would say is even a gift, for helping people to deal with pain of all different sorts. What a gift she has been to me during our time here. She has helped my body onto the path of healing in a beautiful way.

While I'm not finished in this journey of pain, I feel a lot of hope, and that's significant!
