In Cleveland Today

Caleb has had a great transition into life at Moody Bible Institute since his arrival three weeks ago.

Classes started last week and while it's just the beginning, he's really enjoyed what he's had so far!

The pain he's been living with for years, continues to persist, which is not a surprise. But we are thankful for the diagnosis he received back in August, and praying that the solution they are proposing will lead to a much better quality of life for him.

I keep telling him I'm amazed at how he handles pain in the midst of life...and now it's not even normal life, but life full of transitions to college and the US!

He's in Cleveland today for his next appointments that we pray will lead to him getting the external neurostimulator to try soon. If that is successful in bringing the pain level down by over 50%, they will move towards implanting it sometime this fall.

He'll get to know the six hour bus route between Chicago and Cleveland really well in the next months, as well as the home of our friends who are hosting him, as he travels back and forth for these appointments.

I continue to be so thankful for God's provisions for him.

Trusting Him for the next steps after today's appointments.
