Happy to be Home

It's the end of our first day back after a month, and I just realized I might have left a few people (moms and dads!) hanging as to whether or not we made it home given what happened on our way.

So just to assure you all, we're home!

I was reading tonight about Queen Elizabeth and her husband Philip (because I decided to give myself permission to watch Netflix' new series "The Crown" this afternoon in order to stay awake!) and how they took a seven month trip around the world after her coronation in 1953. If I thought a month was a long time to be away, imagine what seven months would be like??!!!

I'm happy to be home!
