Forever Grateful

This sabbatical year is so special and unique as we travel the country and visit with friends and family that we love and cherish. Along the way I'm seeing people God has used to shape and form me for over 50 years.

I feel so deeply about what they've meant to me, and am infinitely thankful for all these dear ones who impacted me along the way.

One of those is my long time best friend, Michelle, who first discipled me when I started college, and then became my dear friend for life!

I met her when I started attending Laurelwood Baptist, pastored by her dad back then. Jim and Jan welcomed me into their home and lives all those years ago, and became so dear to me - lifelong friends as well!

Whenever we're in Portland, they love, care and spoil us! What sweet fellowship we have when we're together.

These three have been loving, praying, giving, caring, feeding, clothing, nourishing, helping, and serving me and my family for a very long time. Oh how I love them!

"Jim, Jan and Michelle, I am forever grateful to you all for the incredible impact you have had, and continue to have, on my life!"

  1. What a fun post to celebrate our friendship and love through the years! It really is hard to believe it's been three and a half decades!!! How on earth can we be this old, right?

You are and always will be a treasure to me. Love you!
