November Skies

While parts of the States are experiencing extreme low temps and snow, we're having an unusual fall here in the Beskydy Mountains.

Warm temperatures, sunny days, and beautiful sunsets.

But of course sunset comes much earlier these days! This photo was taken at 3:30 this afternoon.

Yet a walk up the road, and a picture taken the exact opposite direction, shows some blue sky still left in the day!

Turning around to look at the sunset again produced another magical sight.

And these are just taken on my phone! (Which is thankfully back from repair now) I wished that I'd walked with my camera when I saw what a beautiful sunset was happening this afternoon.

As you can see there's still green grass, though the leaves on the trees are all gone for the year.

Turning the corner at this spot up by our little airport, Kaylee and I walked at the edge of the runway then headed for home.

This sunset view met us as we left the airport.

Then, just ten minutes later, it all changed again and gave us our last glimpse of the sun on this beautiful fall afternoon in the Beskydy's.

Thankful that this is home!
