"I made a little treat for you that I'd love to drop off. Will you be around at all tomorrow morning for me to bring it by?"
What thoughtful act of kindness had this sweet friend prepared?
A beautiful, and incredibly yummy, gluten free apple pie! I was SO touched by her kindness. Thank you dear Lisa for your thoughtfulness!!
She is the one who first taught Claire to bake an apple pie six years ago. And now, since I don't have Claire around to bake for me, Lisa did! Isn't that so kind??
|Don't worry, she didn't get even one teeny little bite, though she sure thought it was interesting!|
On a crisp fall day, there's nothing better than a slice of apple pie!
You are so very welcome! I hope you enjoyed it!ReplyDelete
Aw! It's beautiful!ReplyDelete
What a sweet gift. And with your gingham table cloth and such a beautifully baked pie, it honestly looks like a picture from the 50's when homemade was a lot more common. Way to go Lisa in bringing love in a pie shaped container!ReplyDelete
And seriously....could Kaylee be any cuter? Her little face with her eyes tipped towards the pie is the most adorable way to make that picture smile! :o)
