Family Thanks

Claire and I finished up her support raising meetings in Eugene today, which meant it was time to say goodbye to my mom and dad.

I appreciate my parents SO much for their never-ending support and encouragement, whether that's here in the States when we come to visit, or when they come over to see us.

Their support began many years ago. First, for me.

Next it was to Dave and I when we married.

And now it's on to the next generation of missionaries: our kids!

They did so much for Claire this past week, opening up doors of new relationships in order to give her a greater platform to share her vision and passion for the JV Kids.

My brother, Mike, was also instrumental in opening significant doors for his niece.

These two have always been great pals so it was really special to Claire that he joined her in getting the news out about what God is leading her to invest her life in.

I am so blessed to have parents and a brother who have stood by me, and my family, all these years as we have followed God's leading in ministry.

"Thank you Dad, Mom and Mike, for your sacrifices, encouragement, help and prayers that have been part of raising up a new generation of believers in Central and Eastern Europe. And now, you're part of sending your granddaughter to bless a whole lot of Josiah Venture missionary kids. We're so thankful for you!!!"
