JV Academy: the Prayer Room

This morning I had the joy of starting off our morning at JV Winter Academy with a session about the Prayer Room, JV's online, 24/7 prayer watch on behalf of the movement of God across Central and Eastern Europe.

It was a holy moment as I shared bright spots from the past year, casted vision for the future, and challenged them to a deeper commitment to prayer.

We all long to see a movement of God in this part of the world, of young people coming to faith, being discipled and equipped as leaders to make disciples who make disciples. But throughout history, no movement of God ever began without prayer preceding it.

That's why we are committed to asking, seeking and knocking on heaven's door for God to move!

Later this week I'll get to do another session on the Prayer Room for our national missionaries who are down at the cabins having a week of orientation to JV.

With 100+ of us at the hotel, and 40+ down at the cabins, this is an exciting week to be part of the JV family, coming together "on mission" for the same vision: a movement of God among the youth of Central and Eastern Europe, that finds its home in the local church and transforms society!
