That Was Enough

This recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction was so much harder than I expected! I have basically spent the past two days in bed, in pain.

That's the only picture from the past two days!

I was thinking about whether or not I wish I'd known ahead of time that it would be so hard.

But I decided I'm glad I didn't know...that there is wisdom in God's word saying: "Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."  That was truer than I knew it would be ahead of time.

Finally this evening I'm experiencing some relief from the pain, and even hosted guests for dinner tonight (thank you Lord for a Crockpot that did the cooking today!). I'm glad I only had one wisdom tooth out...that was enough!

We are gearing up for our annual JV Fall conference, which officially starts on Monday, but practically starts tomorrow since people (like Caleb, Haley and Charlie!) start arriving for pre-conference meetings that begin Saturday with dinner. My prayer has been that I'd feel well by the time everyone arrived, and especially by the time conference starts on Monday. I'm definitely on the way towards God's answer to that!

  1. I was given novocaine for my wisdom teeth extraction, I chose to have a local anesthesia. I didn't feel any pain, just pressure as my wisdom teeth were being extracted. Visit Dentists Katy for more information and knowledge.
