Bye Mimi and Grampa

Goodbyes are never fun. But especially when you're saying goodbye to grandchildren as Mark and Amy had to do today.

They're on their way to the US for a two month home assignment - a time to catch up with family, friends, supporters and churches who stand with them in their ministry in Slovakia with JV.

Not because I planned it, but just because it's the way it worked out...I kept adding one more person to the photos this morning before they left! They're all so sweet I wanted to post them all.

They took the bus to Krakow today so that they can make their flight early tomorrow morning, heading to Colorado, where they lived before coming eight years ago to serve here. They'll travel to many other places over the next two months, sharing about what God's doing in Slovakia in the lives of young people.

It's been the sweetest time sharing in these days together of Jenna's birth, bonding with her, and spending time with Caleb, Haley, their daughter, and of course with Charlie. God worked out the timing of Jenna's birth perfectly so that they'd get this time with their family before heading to the States.

They'll be back in May, in time for our JV spring conference!
