Crossing Wyoming

There wasn't time to stop for pictures along the way from Cody to Jackson, Wyoming today. If we'd stopped every time I wanted to take a picture, the trip would've taken twice as long!

So I had to content myself with capturing the fall beauty of Wyoming at its peak of spectacular-ness (is that even a word?!) through the window of our car as we drove.

The closer we got to Yellowstone, the more bison we started seeing alongside the road.

Minding their own business, if you mind yours, they are content to eat right next to the where cars are speeding by. Though I would've liked a close up, I know better than to stop for these big guys!

Throughout the day, I fell a little more in love with Wyoming as we crossed the state.

I felt both happy and sad to see the Tetons at the end of our drive. While it meant we were back in Jackson, which I always enjoy, it also meant the end of a beautiful drive.

How I came to enjoy Wyoming so much is still a mystery to me!
