The To Do List

While Dave and I do spend time together doing work and ministry, we don't take a day off and just hang out with each other often enough. Not because we don't want to! There's just always a "To Do" list of other things to do.

But that list got put away today!

We wandered down to the river in Ostrava and watched kids learning to kayak on this summer-like spring day.

And drove in over that bridge, the old way we used to come when we first moved here 25 years ago!

We grabbed a late lunch and ate all by ourselves at Mama's Bistro in Ostrava.

Yes, I was just here two days ago; it's that good I wanted Dave to come too! He loved it.

Then we headed over to our favorite mall, Karolina, and hung out at Starbucks.

I like Starbucks in the States and often stop there when we're there. But when you come to this one, it still feels special after all these years (it opened six years ago).

We waited for a while and then headed to the movie theater to catch the new Star Wars movie: Solo. It was great, if you're a Star Wars fan and want to know the back story!

There is sure no one I'd rather go to a movie with, or do anything with for that matter, than my dear Dave.

I'm glad we put each other at the top of the "To Do" list today!
