Redeeming the Time

We left from Split today, headed towards Minneapolis, Minnesota in the States. And if this isn't a familiar sight to our travels, I don't know what is!

I don't know how he does it, but even while we're flying (or in airports waiting to fly) he is using the time to reach out to people (in this case he's texting with a man he led to Jesus a few months ago).

He's always been a tremendous example to me through the years of "redeeming the time", making the most of the time he has, for God's purposes.

If we're given a window seat, I almost always take it since Dave rarely looks out the window! I should have taken a picture of him on the plane, because he had his computer out and was working on emails to people, redeeming the time!

This was in the Frankfurt airport, while we had about 15 minutes to wait for our flight!

I have so much appreciation for Dave's love and care for people, his diligence to work hard, and his use of time, even when we're on the go!

Early on in our marriage I put pressure on myself to be like him, but thankfully that didn't last long! My version of redeeming the time is looking out the window and praying, watching people and praying, or taking a nap so I have something to give when we get to our destinations! ๐Ÿ˜‚

We all have our different ways of redeeming the time, and I just wanted to note that I love that Dave does it exactly in keeping with who God made him to be!
