Holy Moments

This morning our church met in a different place than usual so that we could have a baptism!

It happened to be my turn to be part of the worship team this morning, so I had a bird's eye view from the piano of this part of the service - something that never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

Two of our own kids were baptized here, making their public profession of faith before their church family. And now today, three more did the same!

One of the young women happened to be a girl that was in Claire's elementary school, a friend that she shared four years of school with. I don't actually know her story of how she came to faith; but she had such a sweet spirit this morning and it brought tears to my eyes knowing that she has put her trust in Jesus.

As our interns are up at the hotel these next few days, preparing for their summer at camps, I can't help but think that there will surely be more baptisms to come, all across this region! As the Good News goes out at camps this summer, I pray that many will have ears to hear and that God will lead them to salvation, and a lifelong journey of faith and devotion to Him!
