Prayer Room Growth

One of my greatest joys in life continues to be working on the JV Prayer Room, an online website for our ministry to generate prayer for what God is doing here. If you haven't tried it out, I highly recommend it!

With the departure of Brian, the man who was the co-creator of the Prayer Room, I am now on a steep learning curve of leaning into the technical side of it these days. What does that mean practically? Well, today it was 6 1/2 hours of dedicated time learning about aspects that I didn't need to know prior to this!

I always saw myself as the heart end of the Prayer Room, while Brian took the technical end. We both loved our parts of it, as I've never seen myself as a particularly technical person.

But...that's changing...because it has to! It's amazing what you can learn when you have to.

These pictures have nothing to do with the Prayer Room! They were just of where I went after spending 6 1/2 hours in the depths of the technical side!

While I titled this post, "Prayer Room Growth", it's probably even more accurate to say "Connie's Prayer Room Growth"! ðŸ˜‰

Even after 2 1/2 years at this project, I believe we're still at the beginning of what God wants to do through it. I'm on for the long haul of it as I believe it's something God has uniquely designed me to do...even the technical side!

Someone wrote on the Reflection Wall of the Prayer Room yesterday:

"Spending time in prayer this morning encouraged and reminded me that God hears and answers prayer because of his faithfulness, not mine!"

To that I say, "AMEN!" We are just following the Lord's command to pray, and standing in faith for the work that He's doing in this part of the world.

  1. I am so proud of you for launching into this new season of growth---which I believe will parallel new growth in the Prayer Room ministry. Doesn't it just resonate with your spirit that the two HAVE to go hand in hand?! That's just how the Trinity does things---getting double milage out of our journeys!
